Kapil Sharma himself has confirmed the news of their return on Instagram expressing gratitude for the love they got in the first season The anticipated guest of the 1stepisode is the cast of the popular series Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. The cast of The Kapil Sharma Show is ready to entertain the audience with their unique characters and humor, delivering endless laughter.
Kapil Sharma recently shared a picture from the set of The Great Indian Kapil Show during a reading session. He captioned the photo “When your work is in love with you”. His energy and enthusiasm are palpable even through the portrait. The buzz even increased with the release of the new promo featuring Kapil Sharma and his team. Archana Puran can also be seen excitedly announcing the grand comeback of the show. The team is enriched with other comedians like Kiku Sharda, Rajeev Thakur, and Krushna Abhishek. These names are worth fan’s excitement. The show is ready to air on September 21.
Krushna Abhishek can be seen nailing the portrayal of the character of Jakie Shroff in the first episode of the second season of The Great Indian Kapil Show. In May of this year, Jackie Shroff petitioned the Delhi High Court to secure legal rights over his name, likeness, and the term ‘Bhidu’, which is closely linked to him. The court moved its decision in his favor and accepted the petition. During a conversation with a renowned newspaper, Jackie Shroff confirmed that he is going to be permitted to use his personality only for Krushna Abhishek. He said, “Krushna is a colleague, a talented actor, and someone I am fond of. He’s superb on his shows, and I think people like his portrayals of different artists. So, that’s the reason. I see no harm in him impersonating me. I mean, I don’t want people selling things like inners on my name.”
Krushna also talked about the same and added, “When I learned about Jaggu dada approaching the High Court, I was both scared and upset, thinking I might no longer be able to mimic him now that it was legally protected. While I was in America about two months ago, I received an audio note from him, followed by a call. He told me, ‘Tu fikr mat kar, tu kar sakta hai mujhko mimick. Tu karta reh, koi problem nahi hai. Tere ko koi nahi rokega, main hoon na’. That meant the world to me, and I ended up crying on the call with him.
As an artist, it’s incredibly fulfilling to know that he appreciates my portrayal and that’s the reason he has allowed only me to impersonate him. He could have barred me from mimicking him. Even if he had, I would still love and admire him for the rest of my life”.
After all the buildup, it’s a well-known fact that only Krushna Abhishek is allowed to mimic Jackie Shroff. And Krishna proved that he was worth the trust. The episode featured Neelam Kothari Soni, Bhavna Pandey, Maheep Kapoor, and Seema Sajdeh, who are the stars of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. While performing with Neelam on the song Aap Ke Aa Jane Se from the movie Khudgarz, one of his mama’s popular songs, he decided to switch a little from Jakie Shroff to Govinda.
