The Great Indian Kapil Show’s second season is back with more excitement, bringing in business tycoons for a candid chat on the weekend episode. This time, the show’s stage welcomed two of India’s most respected couples: Infosys co-founder NR Narayana Murthy with his wife, author and philanthropist Sudha Murthy, and Zomato co-founder Deepinder Goyal with his wife, Mexican model Grecia Munoz, addressed as Gia Goyal on the show.
The latest promo of the episode, aired on Netflix, opened with Murthy and Sudha Murthy making their entrance. In a fun conversasion, Kapil asked Murthy if he knew Sudha was “the one” when they first met.suddenly a sound occurred on stage and Kapil was startled. Sudha quickly intervened, joking, “That was exactly his reaction too.”
Later Narayana Murthy also gave fans a rare glimpse into his relationship with Sudha Murthy, sharing his first impression of her. “When she came to our house, it felt like a breath of fresh air,” he recalled. Sudha humorously added, “Jawan the na,” bringing laughter to the audience.
Kapil’s curiosity about the Murthys’ long-lasting bond after 47 years of marriage brought out more insights. Sudha shared how they have grown alike in some ways, saying, “I’ve become a workaholic like him and now I’m very particular about time.” She also joked about her cooking skills, saying, “I cook so poorly, yet he never says anything. Just look at Murthy saab’s weight—thanks to my cooking.” She also urged Kapil to ask what her husband has learned from her.
Deepinder Goyal, founder of Zomato, shared a funny anecdote about the couple’s recent day as Zomato delivery agents. In a clip, the two are shown delivering orders in their Zomato attire. Kapil, pointed out that customers are often caught staring when Gia, in her delivery uniform, arrives at their door. Goyal agreed, saying, “When Gia delivers the order, the customer keeps on staring at her.”
The laughter continued with Sunil Grover’s witty quip during one of the games. When Goyal threw a ring outside the target box, Grover joked, “Aapki galat jagah delivery ho rahi hain.” Later, Krushna Abhishek, dressed as Donald Trump, playfully teased Goyal about delivery delays, saying, “I want to tell you a joke, but you have to wait five minutes due to heavy rainfall.”
