In a disturbing development, well-known personalities Kapil Sharma and Remo D’Souza have reportedly received death threats, causing widespread concern among their fans. Initial investigations indicate that the emails may have originated from Pakistan. Authorities have taken swift action, with an FIR registered in response to complaints filed by Kapil and Rajpal. Meanwhile, Sugandha’s complaint has led to the recording of a non-cognizable offense. Remo, too, has notified the authorities about a threatening email.

The situation intensified on December 14 when Kapil Sharma received an alarming death threat email. Sources claim the email came from a sender identified as “BISHNU.” The message reportedly demanded a response from Kapil within eight hours, warning of serious consequences for non-compliance. The email’s tone emphasized its gravity, stating it was not a publicity stunt or an act of harassment. It urged the recipient to treat the matter seriously and confidentially. Kapil promptly approached the police, leading to an FIR being registered at Mumbai’s Amboli Police Station under Section 351(3) of the Bombay Police Act. Security measures for Kapil and his family are reportedly being arranged.
