The shocking terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, has left the entire nation heartbroken. The beautiful valley, known for its lush meadows and scenic views, turned into a scene of horror on Tuesday afternoon. Around 3 PM, at Baisaran, a meadow often called “mini Switzerland”, terrorists opened fire, claiming twenty-eight innocent lives. Among the victims were an officer from the Indian Navy and a member of the Intelligence Bureau. What should have been an afternoon of peace and nature turned into tragedy.

As the horrifying news spread, celebrities from different corners expressed grief and anger over the incident. Entrepreneur and Shark Tank India judge Aman Gupta took to his social media to mourn the loss. His words reflected the pain everyone felt. “No words. Just pain. My heart goes out to the families who suffered the loss in Pahalgam brutality,” he wrote. His simple yet powerful message resonated with countless followers online.

Another Shark Tank India judge, Kunal Bahl, expressed his deep disappointment. He shared a picture from his last visit to Pahalgam, recalling how he’d always encouraged people to visit Kashmir. Kunal admitted he could no longer do that. “I will stop doing that now. Not worth the risk,” he stated. His message showed not just sorrow but also a sense of defeat, highlighting how terror takes away not only lives but faith and trust too.

Several other celebrities also voiced their outrage. Actor Aly Goni spoke about how such acts go against the teachings of peace in Islam. He posted, “I’m heartbroken and enraged by the horrific terror attack in Pahalgam today. This senseless violence against innocent lives contradicts the peace Islam teaches. My prayers are with the victims and their families. We must unite against such evils.”

Asim Riaz, also from Jammu and Kashmir, expressed grief for his homeland. He called Kashmir a place of beauty turned into a scene of horror. Asim wrote how terror stole not just lives but futures and peace. He prayed for those who survived the attack and condemned the violent act.

Actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee voiced a hard-hitting opinion. She said that, based on what she had heard and understood, such attacks wouldn’t be possible without local assistance. Devoleena pointed out the tragic history of the Kashmiri Pandits, hinting at an unsettling pattern. Her statement triggered strong reactions from people both supporting and questioning her view.

Television star Vivian Dsena, known for his calm nature, broke his silence too. He shared his emotions in a heartfelt Instagram story. “Still trying to process the heartbreaking news from Jammu and Kashmir. Innocent lives lost while simply trying to enjoy their journey, this is beyond tragic. My heart goes out to every family affected. I’m deeply sorry for your pain,” Vivian wrote. He didn’t stop there. Addressing the misuse of religion, he firmly added, “No religion teaches or permits such violence. This was a cruel, inhuman act that must be condemned by all.”

Vivian ended his note with a hopeful message, “I pray the injured recover fully, and the families find strength in this unimaginable grief. Justice must be served. We must never lose our humanity.”

The terror attack has sent shockwaves through the nation. Authorities quickly tightened security in and around the region. Tourists were evacuated, and the once-busy streets of Pahalgam turned eerily silent. What was meant to be a peaceful summer destination became the centre of national mourning.

Baisaran, once admired for its endless green meadows, now stands as a reminder of the brutal day. The country, still grappling with the loss, hopes justice will be delivered. And while hearts remain heavy, voices across India continue to condemn the mindless violence and pray for healing.
