In the latest promo of the show, she shared that their bond was affected due to his lack of support for her acting career. The conversation unfolded during an emotional moment when Chef Ranveer Brar called Nikki’s father to praise her cooking skills.
In the new video, Nikki was seen preparing Roasted Ghee Chicken as part of a cooking challenge. When Chef Vikas Khanna asked about her choice of dish, she recalled a special childhood memory. She mentioned that the ghee used in their house always came from her father’s side of the family. The aroma of that ghee was tied to their celebrations, whether it was a festival or a reward for her academic achievements. She reminisced, saying they would always prepare chicken along with it.
Vikas, amused by the story, asked if she made ghee roast chicken every time she had a victory. She nodded in agreement, prompting him to jokingly remind her that she had yet to win the challenge in Masterchef. After the cooking task was completed, Nikki nervously presented her dish to the judges. As Ranveer tasted it, he requested her to fetch her phone. She hesitated when he asked her to call her father, unsure if he would even pick up. Despite her reluctance, he dialed the number, and as soon as her father answered, Nikki broke into tears.
