The latest season of Roadies XX has kept its audience hooked with dramatic tasks, fierce rivalries, and unpredictable eliminations. Among the contestants who made a mark despite a short journey was Nishi Tanwar. Recently evicted, she opened up about her experience and disappointments in an interview.
Nishi reflected on her time in the show with mixed emotions. Though her stint didn’t last long, she felt grateful for the opportunity. The experience taught her valuable lessons about friendships, competition, and personal strength. However, behind the camaraderie and challenging tasks, she also felt a lingering sense of unfairness in how things unfolded.
In her candid conversation, Nishi shared that she didn’t feel the kind of support she had hoped for from her gang members or her gang leader, Prince Narula. She admitted to entering the show with immense respect for Prince, viewing him as not just a leader but someone who built a name for himself through sheer effort. She believed he would be a mentor figure and an encouraging presence during the game.
However, as the journey progressed, her expectations fell apart. Nishi explained that she often felt sidelined and ignored. Prince, whom she once admired, did not prioritize her in the way she had hoped. The sense of being overlooked hurt her confidence in the game. Even within her own gang, she struggled to find steady support. Nishi revealed that while her interactions with other gang leaders remained cordial, the situation with Prince left a bitter aftertaste. She confessed that things ended on an unpleasant note, and the strain between them still lingers.
Another issue that Nishi pointed out was the uneven playing field for female contestants this season. She expressed frustration over how most tasks and leadership decisions seemed to favour the male participants. According to her, the bias was evident throughout the show. “This year’s season was solely made for the male participants and not for the female contestants. May it be the task or the gang leader’s priority, it was always the men who were seen to be given the preferences,” she stated firmly. Nishi felt disheartened by what she perceived as a lack of fair opportunities. In her view, if women were not going to be treated equally, there was no point inviting them onto the show. She added that they might as well create a male-only season if the bias is so apparent.
Despite the challenges, Nishi chose to walk away with her head held high. She spoke about standing by her principles and playing the game with integrity. Even if it cost her alliances and opportunities, she refused to compromise on her values. Nishi believed that Roadies was more than just physical strength; it tested one’s character and resilience. “I have no regrets about how I played the game. I stood by my principles, and if that means losing people along the way, then so be it,” she said.
Looking back, Nishi acknowledged that the platform taught her a lot about herself. From testing her patience to discovering her inner strength, every challenge revealed a new side of her. Though the ending wasn’t what she hoped for, the friendships and lessons she gained hold more value. She expressed gratitude for the experience and said she would cherish the connections she made on the show.
