Comedian Sudesh Lehri and YouTuber Elvish Yadav brought laughter and playful banter to the latest episode of Elvish’s podcast. The episode quickly turned into a hilarious roast session as Sudesh called out the growing podcast culture and how YouTubers profit without paying guests.
Reflecting on his television journey, Sudesh remarked that artists work tirelessly for entertainment shows like Laughter Chefs, while YouTubers cash in on their presence. He pointed out how these creators invite guests for free and monetize the content.
“I have worked so hard on TV, from Doordarshan, Comedy Circus, Comedy Nights Bachao, and now Laughter Chefs. But these YouTubers invite artists from Laughter Chefs to their podcasts for free while they earn money,” Sudesh commented. He didn’t stop there and continued to poke fun at Elvish, playfully highlighting the double standards.
“If we ask YouTubers to come on Laughter Chefs, they make a big deal about it, ‘I’ll charge this much, I come from Gurgaon, my car is worth Rs 3 crore, I don’t just show up like that!’ So, this is happening too!” he added, leaving Elvish amused and making a face.
Trying to shift the focus, Elvish shared his journey of overcoming financial struggles. He spoke about owning a Wagon R in the past and, through years of dedication, purchasing a luxury G-Wagon. In his trademark comedic style, Sudesh responded, “Yaar shukar hai teri shakal ameeron wali hai.” The witty remark had everyone laughing.
Elvish, not one to back down, admitted, “Earlier, even my face looked poor. It has improved now.” Sudesh, without missing a beat, concluded, “Money changes a lot, even faces!” without wasting any time Elvish quipped, “Par Paysa aapka kuch nehi kar Payi.”
The conversation added another layer of entertainment as they reflected on their contrasting experiences. Elvish, who won Bigg Boss OTT 2, has rapidly risen to fame with his witty content and digital presence. Meanwhile, Sudesh has spent decades winning hearts on television with his impeccable comic timing.
Currently, on Laughter Chefs Season 2, Elvish is paired with internet sensation Abdu Rozik, while Sudesh is partnered with Mannara Chopra. In the previous season, his pairing with Nia Sharma was a fan favorite, earning immense love from viewers.
The light-hearted exchange between Sudesh and Elvish highlighted the evolving landscape of entertainment. While traditional television remains iconic, digital platforms like YouTube have carved a significant space for creators. The playful jabs and mutual respect showcased their bond, leaving fans eagerly waiting for more episodes filled with laughter.
