Reflecting on the personal toll the controversy has taken, he said, “I will be careful next time so such a thing does not happen again. My mental state is not well due to this whole case. My Canada tour also did not go well. I am sorry for what I said; I know what I said is wrong.”

Despite tickets being sold out in advance, he informed fans via his Instagram story on March 20 that the shows were postponed. He further assured, “Everyone will receive refunds for their purchases.”

Although he requested the authorities to record his statement via video conferencing, the agency denied his plea. Ultimately, he complied with the order and appeared on March 24 to provide his statement.
