Rajat Dalal, the second runner-up of Bigg Boss 18, stirred controversy recently after recording a podcast with Elvish Yadav. The duo has been the center of attention on social media following some highly contentious remarks made during their conversation. The comments, especially those targeting fellow contestants, sparked a massive reaction from viewers. One of the most significant moments came when Rajat referred to Shilpa Shirodkar using a derogatory term, calling her “neech,” a word meant to demean her character.
Shilpa, known for her calm demeanor, was quick to respond. She stated that Rajat’s words no longer had any impact on her, explaining that she had already stopped reacting to such comments during their time in the Bigg Boss house. She further emphasized that everyone has their own way of expressing themselves, and she wasn’t interested in engaging with his behavior. Shilpa, in her interview, mentioned, “He is doing what he knows best and I’m doing what I know best. I feel jaise Maine ghar mein reaction dena chod diya tha Waise main Yahan par bhi reaction na doon toh sahi rahega.”
Shilpa also added that she didn’t feel any personal hurt from Rajat’s comments. She believed that everyone reveals their true character through their actions and words. For her, it was clear that Rajat’s approach to communication was his own, and she had no intention of trying to change him. She expressed that she had no interest in being part of any confrontation, as she didn’t feel the need to explain herself to anyone. Shilpa’s focus, she said, was on her journey ahead, free from any ill feelings toward anyone.
While discussing the incidents that occurred inside the Bigg Boss house, Shilpa made it clear that she had left all her baggage there. The house had its challenges, but it was all behind her now. She mentioned, “If we meet in future I think we all will meet very cordially with each other. I know to surviving in that house without relationship is very difficult.” She believed that surviving in the house required cooperation, and each contestant had contributed to her experience in some way.
Rajat Dalal’s comments during the podcast, however, painted a different picture. He didn’t hold back in his criticism of Shilpa, calling her the worst of the “lowly” people he had encountered. He said that no matter how long someone has been in the industry, he wouldn’t be impressed. He went on to claim that, despite encountering many people with questionable behavior, he had never met anyone as “low” as Shilpa. His remarks came across as harsh and unprovoked, leaving many questioning his intent and the tone of the conversation.
As both Rajat and Shilpa continue to navigate their post-Bigg Boss lives, it seems clear that they will each take their own paths. Shilpa’s focus is on growth and maintaining her inner peace, while Rajat appears to embrace a more confrontational style. Only time will tell how these two will continue to evolve in the public eye, but one thing is certain that the Bigg Boss house might be behind them, but the echoes of their time there continue to reverberate.
