Actor Gurucharan Singh, who played Roshan Singh Sodhi in the popular TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC), has been missing for five days. He was last seen at Delhi Airport. In the latest development, DCP South-West Delhi Rohit Meena has issued a statement about the situation. He said the police are examining CCTV footage and investigating.
Speaking to agency ANI, he said, “Gurucharan Singh’s family lodged a complaint with us that he is missing since he left for Mumbai at 8:30 pm on April 22. We are investigating from all angles. We have some clues and are reviewing CCTV footage. In the footage released by the police, Gurucharan is seen with a backpack.
Gurucharan Singh’s family and fans are shocked by his disappearance. Hindustan Times spoke to actors from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Sachin Shroff, who plays Taarak Mehta, said, “I learned about this on Saturday morning. Though I haven’t worked with him on this show, the team is assisting the family and staying in contact with authorities.”
