Tejasswi Prakash is back on screen with Celebrity MasterChef, and her fans couldn’t be more thrilled. Her admirers had been eagerly waiting for her return, and now their excitement has reached new heights. As she steps back into the limelight, in an exclusive conversation with the actress, she shared insights into her journey, experiences, and personal life.

Tejasswi took a trip down memory lane, recalling cherished moments captured in photos. One particular image featuring her with Rohit Shetty brought back fond memories. She described it as a moment filled with fun and laughter. When asked about her bond with the filmmaker, she confirmed that he holds her in high regard.

Speaking about Rohit Shetty, Tejasswi couldn’t stop praising him. She expressed, “He is that one judge; there’s nobody like him, there is nobody in the world like him.” Having interacted with many people in the industry, she firmly believes that his ability to understand and appreciate genuine intentions sets him apart. The actress explained that while most judges or hosts might expect formal behavior, Rohit never imposes authority despite his commanding presence. She described him as a towering personality who could easily demand respect but chooses to remain warm and approachable. She further shared that beneath his tough exterior lies a kind-hearted person. In her words, he is one of the best individuals she has ever met.

The conversation then shifted to a widely debated topic in the entertainment industry, the perception that television actors are overexposed for films. Tejasswi shared her personal experiences, recalling how filmmakers showed enthusiasm when she worked in Marathi cinema. She mentioned that while working on two Marathi films, no one raised concerns about her visibility on television affecting her chances in films. She also recalled, “Aaj bhi jab mein Marathi bolti hu, Usha tai, Nikki, Abhijeet, teeno hi surprised ho jate hain ki mein Marathi bol leti hu and I’m like mein Maharastrian hu.”

However, she admitted that there have been instances where she faced rejection due to the belief that audiences had already seen too much of her on TV. She found this reasoning flawed, questioning why being widely recognized should be a disadvantage. In her opinion, if people are watching her, it only proves her popularity.

Tejasswi pointed out that perspectives are slowly shifting. She highlighted the rise of influencers who have transitioned into acting, emphasizing that their large followings have proven audience demand. However, she also acknowledged the intense competition in the industry, particularly for actresses in her age group. She noted, “Opportunities kam milne ki wajah yehi hain ki already industry mein itna competition hain, especially when it comes to girls my age… jinke parents khud actors hain. There’s so many of us that I cannot blame anybody. I can do only one thing- continue to work hard. Baki jo hain wo mujhe Ganpati Bappa par chhodna padhega.”

Despite the challenges, she remains focused on her work. Rather than blaming circumstances, she chooses to put in continuous effort and leave the rest to fate. With a strong belief in perseverance, she concluded that hard work and faith will ultimately pave the way forward.
