In the latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kahlata Hai Kaveri’s relentless search for Vidya brought tension to the Poddar household. Rohit, attempting to dodge confrontation, avoided her gaze. However, Kaveri’s sharp eyes soon spotted Vidya alongside Armaan. Madhav, determined to ease the situation, urged Kaveri to let Armaan meet Vidya as Vidya wants to apologise to him. But Kaveri stood her ground, insisting, “Armaan should bow down, not Vidya.” Accusing him of selfishness, she refused to back down.
Madhav, in a firm voice, reminded Kaveri of her own past actions, saying, “You have used Armaan for your gain.” Despite his words, Kaveri prepared to confront Vidya. Just as she approached, Abhira stepped in, boldly declaring, “You have no right to interfere.” Her words cut through the tension as she accused Kaveri of failing to be a true mother to Madhav.
Kaveri, unwilling to relent, retaliated with cruel words. She mocked Abhira’s struggles, cruelly remarking, “You can’t even conceive, and you are lecturing me on motherhood?” Shivani immediately defended Abhira, standing tall against Kaveri’s venom. Despite Shivani’s efforts, Kaveri insulted them both. But Abhira, refusing to be silenced, warned her, saying, “You will not mistreat Shivani for past issues.”
Kaveri, determined to blame Abhira for her son’s misfortune, cruelly declared, “Armaan can’t become a father because of you.” The accusation shattered Abhira. Armaan, overhearing the heartless words, rushed forward. Confronting Kaveri, he demanded an explanation for her hurtful remarks. Kaveri, however, questioned his loyalty to his family, asking, “Where is your child if this is truly your family?” Stunned and overwhelmed, Armaan could no longer bear the weight of his family’s expectations. He made the painful decision to walk away, taking Abhira and Shivani with him.
Manish, watching the chaos unfold, voiced his disapproval. “You have no sensitivity, Kaveri,” he remarked, deeply disappointed. Yet, Kaveri remained resolute, blaming Abhira for dividing the family. Vidya, unable to stay silent, finally spoke up. “tToday Abhira came to reunite your family, and you destroyed everything” she declared, holding Kaveri accountable. However, Madhav was quick to point out the futility of her defense. “Your words are too late,” he said.
Vidya, refusing to waver, accused Kaveri of letting her pride destroy their family. Meanwhile, Armaan’s mind lingered on the harsh accusations. The weight of Kaveri’s words bore down on him. Shivani, standing by his side, tried to comfort him. Regretfully, she admitted, “I didn’t know about Abhira’s condition. I wish I hadn’t caused her pain.” Determined to support Abhira, Shivani and Armaan resolved to stand by her.
Abhira, however, was inconsolable. Overwhelmed by the pain, she broke down. Seeing her distress, Armaan and Shivani decided to lift her spirits. Meanwhile both Poddars and Goenkas appeared in their house to cheer them up. Manish and Manisha, too, stepped in. “Let’s cook something special,” they suggested. Determined to create moments of joy, Armaan and Rohit volunteered to handle the dishes.
In the midst of it all, Daksh’s cries echoed through the room. Ruhi struggled to calm him down. Concerned, Abhira stepped forward, gently soothing him. “He felt hot,” she explained, her maternal instinct evident. Witnessing her care, Ruhi’s resentment began to fade. She found herself silently appreciating Abhira’s selflessness.
