The latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kahlata Hai opens with Abhira questioning Armaan about his decision to leave law. He confesses that his career flourished only because of his surname, and now he wants to carve his own path without relying on his family’s reputation. Concerned, Abhira worries about his future. Armaan then asks if she misses seeing him in court. She admits that Sanjay has been interfering with her work, influencing her clients, and making it impossible for her to get cases. Angered by Sanjay’s actions, Armaan wants to confront him, but Abhira stops him. A wave of guilt washes over Armaan as he realizes she is facing these struggles because of him. She reassures him, asking for his support. They decide to have dinner together.
During their walk, they come across children in need of tuition. A kind woman from their neighbour stops them and offers them food, bringing a rare moment of joy. Later, they head out for shopping. As they browse, Armaan ignores a call from Rohit, while Abhira deliberately does not pick up Manish’s call. When Armaan asked Abhira why she is not taking the call she replied that he will ask questions and she herself is searching for those answers right now.
Meanwhile, Rohit informs Madhav that Armaan has been avoiding their calls and insists that they track him down. On the other side, Manish grows anxious, telling the family that the Poddars have no clue about Abhira and Armaan’s whereabouts. He worries about what might happen to Armaan and Abhira.
As the night deepens, Armaan and Abhira adjust to their modest lifestyle. When they sat for meal they relaised it’s not enough for both of them and they started giving excuses to feed other sufficiently. Later suddenly light goes off and they feed Shivani, a stranger to Armaan but someone whom Abhira sees as a friend. Shivani, however, feels fortunate to have them by her side. Armaan, weighed down by guilt, blames himself for both Abhira and Shivani’s struggles.
Madhav eventually finds out where Armaan and Abhira are staying but chooses to keep it a secret from the Poddars. Sympathizing with Armaan’s plight, he decides to help him discreetly, ensuring neither Abhira nor Armaan realizes his involvement.
Later, Abhira and Armaan discuss their next steps. Armaan decides to attend walk-in interviews, while Abhira considers offering tuition to earn a living. She motivates him, telling him he has the capability to secure a job soon. As they prepare to rest, Armaan hesitantly asks where she plans to sleep. She quickly arranges a separate space for themselves.
The next morning brings an unexpected shock. As Armaan and Abhira start their day, they are stunned to find Manish, Swarna, and Surekha standing before them.
