In the latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kahlata Hai Armaan stumbles upon a shocking truth that RK has stolen Abhira’s files from his office. RK then reveals to Abhira that her files were kept along with them. This leads Abhira to believe that Armaan did it on purpose to clear her name. When RK offers to join her for a celebration at her house, she hesitates but doesn’t dwell on it too much. She wonders if Armaan’s actions stem from guilt or a genuine effort to make amends, yet she brushes aside the thought. Armaan assumes Abhira is content, while RK waits for a confrontation. But instead of reacting, Armaan stays silent, saying that all that mattered was Abhira getting her license back. He expresses no concern about RK’s involvement, believing that he is merely supporting Abhira.
Sanjay, however, is furious. He accuses Armaan of betraying their family by standing by Abhira. In his defense, Armaan insists he has done nothing wrong. Sanjay then informs the Poddar family about Armaan’s actions. While Madhav, Manisha, Manoj, Krish, and Aryan rejoice assuming Abhira regained license with Armaan’s help, Kaveri sees things differently. She demands an explanation, questioning how Armaan could forgive Abhira so soon. He clarifies that forgiveness is out of the question, but he could not bear to destroy her dreams. He confesses to feeling guilty for falsely blaming her in the past. Kaveri, however, isn’t satisfied and demands to know how he intends to convince Vidya. Armaan remains hopeful, believing it won’t be a challenge.
Manisha, noticing the situation, wonders when Armaan will finally acknowledge his true feelings for Abhira. Kaveri disapproves and reprimands her. Sanjay, however, points out that scolding Manisha won’t change reality, Armaan has, once again, chosen Abhira. He warns that Abhira might use this as an opportunity to create a rift between Armaan and the family. Accidently, Vidya overhears the entire conversation.
Meanwhile, Abhira rejoices in her success with the Goenka family. RK watches her with admiration and encourages them to start the celebration. His enthusiasm fades, however, when he notices the food being served, green vegetables. Curious, he questions the choice of dishes. Abhira explains that Armaan introduced the tradition of eating green vegetables during moments of joy. A thought lingers in her mind that perhaps Armaan deliberately placed her files together, subtly trying to assist her.
While the celebration continues, an unexpected phone call interrupts the moment. The court informs both Abhira and Armaan about their impending divorce hearing. Abhira secretly hopes that Armaan won’t finalize a date. However, her hopes are crushed when Vidya steps in and picks one without hesitation. A wave of sorrow washes over Abhira as she realizes the inevitable.
