In the latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kahlata Hai Abhira winced as pain shot through her injured foot. Manisha, noticing her discomfort, insisted that she visit a doctor, but Abhira refused. Worried, Manisha handed her a painkiller and urged her to take care. She disclosed that she has got their address from Surekha after a lot of struggle and also made a mental note to check on Abhira more often. Meanwhile, an invitation to a South Indian engagement ceremony arrived. Wanting to attend, Abhira chose to endure the pain rather than rely on medicine.
At the Poddar house, problems that had been troubling the family suddenly seemed to disappear. Kaveri, puzzled by the ease with which things were falling into place, wondered who could be behind it. Rohit, unimpressed by her reaction, defended Armaan. Ruhi, noticing Rohit’s cold demeanor towards the family, questioned his behavior. He, in turn, expressed his frustration, stating that Kaveri and Vidya had controlled Armaan for too long. “It has to stop,” he said firmly. He declared that the Poddars did not deserve a son as selfless as Armaan and vowed to take a stand against Kaveri’s rigid ways.
Shivani helped Abhira drape a saree, but Abhira, admiring how well it suited her, insisted that Shivani wear it instead. As she waited for Armaan, news arrived that he had secured a job. When Armaan arrived, he announced that he was working at a garage. His excitement was contagious, and both Abhira and Shivani shared his joy. Shivani, appreciating his efforts, remarked, “No job is too big or small.”
Armaan then revealed gifts for them. He handed a saree to Shivani, who was delighted but surprised when she realized he had unknowingly chosen Vidya’s favorite color. Without hesitation, she decided to wear it. When he presented new footwear to Abhira, she hesitated. She refused to put them on, trying to mask her injury. Armaan, confused by her reaction, questioned her, but she skillfully deflected his concerns.
Back at the Poddar house, Vidya prepared Armaan’s favorite dish. When Manisha returned, Vidya inquired about her whereabouts. Manisha revealed she had visited Abhira and Armaan and, in a hushed voice, mentioned that Abhira was keeping her injury a secret because she couldn’t afford medical treatment. Vidya, seemingly concerned, then asked about Shivani, leaving Manisha surprised that Vidya was still preoccupied with her.
Despite the pain, Abhira finally decided to wear the footwear Armaan had gifted her, wanting to see him happy. She reluctantly took the painkiller to make it through the evening. At the function, the atmosphere was vibrant. Armaan wore a traditional attire and Abhira danced together, laughter filling the air. However, Armaan soon noticed that she was limping. Assuming the new footwear was causing discomfort, he let it go initially, but suspicion lingered in his mind.
As the night progressed, Armaan’s concern deepened. He carefully observed Abhira and sensed something was amiss. When he discovered she had been secretly taking painkillers, his expression turned to shock. The realization that she had been enduring pain all along without saying a word left him stunned.
