Yesterday’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kahlata Hai begins with Armaan starting his first day as a professor with a commanding presence. He instructed the students to silence their phones and urged them to follow their hearts in whatever they do. His charisma drew playful remarks from the students, with one girl calling him a “love guru” and another joking about his wife or girlfriend being lucky. Armaan, undeterred, confidently responded that the woman he loves is currently upset with her but would soon realize his feelings.
The class began, and Abhira raised her hand to answer a question. In a moment of distraction, Armaan accidentally threw a chalk piece toward another student, but it landed near Abhira. He quickly apologized, assuring her it was unintentional. However, this stirred emotions in Abhira, who remained distant and conflicted.
Back at home, Dadi voiced her frustrations about Armaan’s distracted behavior. Madhav teased, saying Armaan is still in “lover mode,” reminiscing about the times when Armaan’s love for Abhira was fresh and intense. Manisha and Kajal shared stories about how Armaan had acted like a hopeless romantic back then, leaving everyone laughing. Despite the light-hearted banter, there was curiosity about what Armaan would do next to win Abhira back.
Meanwhile, Abhira tried to channel her emotions into darts, but her anger lingered. She realized her coffee has got cold Armaan replaced it with hot one secretly leaving Abhira surprised. Armaan, on the other hand, remained determined. He believed that once her anger subsided, she would recognize his love and discard the divorce papers.
Later, Armaan arranged food for Abhira, but she left the burger untouched, still unwilling to forgive him. Sunny, another student, mentioned his feelings for Abhira but admitted he felt intimidated. Armaan advised him to focus on his studies, hinting that Abhira was out of reach for anyone else.
The day took an unexpected turn when Abhira and Armaan got locked in the library. While waiting for help, they exchanged silent emotions, their connection evident despite the tension. When Abhira tried to break the door with a hammer, Armaan stopped her, worried she might hurt herself. In the midst of this, her mangalsutra got caught in his shirt. He assured her that their relationship was unbreakable.
Once the peon unlocked the door, they tumbled out, drawing attention from students. When someone questioned Abhira about wearing a mangalsutra, a faculty member intervened, reminding everyone it was a personal matter and disclosed that they are husband wife. The faculty told that they don’t hire people from same families. Arman reassured that it was an accident and they would maintain the college decorum forther. Abhira, however, distanced herself, claiming she was only there to study and calling their relationship that of strangers.
At home, Dadi confronted Armaan about the Poddar firm’s declining performance. She blamed his preoccupation with Abhira for the loss of clients. Despite Madhav’s defense, Dadi warned Armaan to focus on his responsibilities. In a heated argument, she gave him an ultimatum: win Abhira back within eight days or leave her forever.
Armaan accepted the challenge, determined to prove his love. His journey to mend his relationship with Abhira had begun, with time ticking against him.
