Apple’s next flagship smartphone, the iPhone 18 Pro, has started generating buzz with new leaks suggesting a completely new signature color. Reports indicate that Apple is preparing a deep red shade, tentatively being called “Cherry Red” , to replace last year’s popular Orange finish seen on the iPhone 17 Pro.
The Orange color was widely appreciated by users and even copied by several Android brands, but Apple now seems ready to move on to a more premium and attractive visual identity.
According to leaked dummy units, the iPhone 18 Pro series could launch with four main color options: Cherry Red, Light Blue, Dark Grey or Black, and Silver. The new Cherry Red is expected to be the biggest visual change and the center of attraction for the upcoming lineup.

Design and Display Upgrades: While Apple may not completely overhaul the design, it is expected to refine the existing look. The overall form factor is likely to remain similar to current Pro models, but the Dynamic Island could be made smaller and more compact, increasing the usable screen area and improving the user experience.
The Silver variant is said to look largely similar to the existing Pro model design. In terms of camera upgrades, the most exciting possibility is that Apple might introduce variable aperture technology for the first time on an iPhone. This feature would allow better photography across different lighting conditions and deliver more professional results. If implemented, this could be a major step forward in mobile photography.

Pricing Expectations: While smartphone prices continue to rise across the industry, some reports suggest that Apple may keep the starting price of the iPhone 18 Pro similar to the previous model. If this happens, the new features – including the premium Cherry Red color, smaller Dynamic Island, and variable aperture camera – could make the device an even more attractive option for users.
It is important to note that Apple has not officially confirmed any of these details yet. However, the continuous stream of leaks and reports indicate that the iPhone 18 Pro could bring several interesting changes in terms of color, camera, and display when it launches later this year.
