Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 Debuts Globally with Premium Titanium Build and Advanced Health Tracking

Samsung has just unveiled its next-generation flagship smartwatch at the Galaxy Unpacked July 2026 event. The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 arrives with a significant shift – it’s powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipset, moving away from the Exynos processors seen in previous models.

Price and Availability

The watch comes in a single 47mm dial size with Bluetooth + LTE connectivity. Global pricing is set at $699.99, while India gets it at ₹64,999. Sales begin August 4 through Samsung’s online store. You can choose from multiple band options including Marine, Peakform, Trail, Sports, Misty, and Fabric, available in Titanium Grey and Titanium Silver colors.

Display and Durability

The watch features a 1.52-inch Super AMOLED display (498 x 498 pixels) with 5,000 nits peak brightness, always-on display support, and sapphire crystal protection. Durability is top-notch with IP69K dust and water resistance, 10ATM, EN13319, and MIL-STD-810H ratings – making it ready for extreme conditions.

Performance and Battery

Under the hood sits Qualcomm’s penta-core Snapdragon Wear Elite chipset, paired with 2GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. The 800mAh battery supports WPC-based wireless charging. Connectivity options include LTE, Bluetooth 6.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, and GPS.

Health Tracking Features

The watch is equipped with an advanced BioActive sensor that continuously tracks biometric data and provides proactive recommendations. New additions include Sleep Apnea detection, which monitors breathing interruptions during sleep. The sensor suite also features bio-signal, electrical heart, temperature, accelerometer, barometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic, and light sensors.

Health tracking covers heart rate monitoring, blood-oxygen level tracking, sleep tracking, and loud environment alerts. The watch runs on Wear OS 7-based OneUI 9 Watch and is compatible with devices running Android 13 or newer.
