Vivo has just dropped its latest budget 5G contender in India, and it’s packing some serious upgrades. The T5 Lite 44W arrives as a worthy successor to last year’s T4 Lite, bringing a massive battery boost and faster charging to the sub-₹20,000 segment.

The phone comes in three storage variants:

- 6GB + 128GB – ₹21,999
- 6GB + 256GB – ₹24,999
Sales begin July 22 on Flipkart and retail stores. Launch offers include ₹1,500 instant discount on select bank cards, bringing the effective starting price down to ₹18,499. You can grab it in Twilight Shadow and Wave Blue colors.

Vivo has given the T5 Lite a premium makeover, borrowing design cues from its V70 series. The flat edges and square camera module give it a sleek, modern look. The 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display supports 120Hz refresh rate and 1,200 nits peak brightness, ensuring smooth scrolling and good visibility even under sunlight.
Built Tough
Durability is a highlight here. The phone comes with IP65 rating for dust and water splash resistance, plus MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification. There’s also a Wet Hand Touch feature, making it usable even with damp fingers – handy for everyday situations.
