Redmi Turbo 5 Camera Details Confirmed: 50MP with OIS, Launching in India on June 16

New Delhi: Xiaomi has officially confirmed the camera specifications for its upcoming performance-centric smartphone, the Redmi Turbo 5, ahead of its India launch on June 16. The device will feature a dual-camera setup on the rear, headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with both Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). This is paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. For selfies and video calls, the phone will sport a 20-megapixel front-facing camera.

Note: These camera details mirror the specifications of the Chinese variant, which has already been launched in the market.

  • Expected Price: While Xiaomi hasn’t officially announced the price, the Chinese variant starts at CNY 1,999 (approx. Rs 26,000). In India, it is widely expected to be priced under Rs 40,000, and could be positioned in the Rs 30,000 – Rs 35,000 range to take on competitors like the Poco X8 Pro and Motorola Edge 70 Pro.
