New Delhi: Huawei has officially launched its new Nova 16 series smartphones, including the Nova 16 and Nova 16z, in the global market. The company has also unveiled Nova 16 Pro and Nova 16 Ultra models as part of this lineup. Both the Nova 16 and Nova 16z come with Huawei’s in-house Kirin chipsets and feature dual rear camera setups.
The Huawei Nova 16 is powered by the Kirin 9010S chipset paired with 12GB RAM, while the Huawei Nova 16z runs on the Kirin 8020 processor. These smartphones are available in multiple storage variants and come with impressive displays, powerful batteries, and fast charging capabilities.

Huawei Nova 16 and Nova 16z Price: The Huawei Nova 16 base variant (12GB RAM + 256GB storage) is priced at CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs 42,000) , while the 512GB storage variant costs CNY 3,499 (approximately Rs 49,000) .
The Huawei Nova 16z starts at CNY 2,699 (approximately Rs 38,000) for the base model, and the top 512GB variant is priced at CNY 3,199 (approximately Rs 45,000) . Both phones are currently launched in China, and global availability including India is expected to be announced soon.

Huawei Nova 16 Specifications: The Huawei Nova 16 features a 6.68-inch Full-HD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1,280 x 2,800 pixels resolution. It is powered by the Kirin 9010S chipset with 12GB RAM. In terms of camera, it boasts a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor paired with a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. For selfies, there is a 50-megapixel front camera.
The phone packs a massive 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 6, USB Type-C port, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS, and NavIC.
Huawei Nova 16z Specifications: The Nova 16z comes with a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ OLED display (1,084 x 2,412 pixels) and is powered by the Kirin 8020 chipset. It features a similar front and rear camera setup as the Nova 16, with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, but the secondary camera is a 12-megapixel telephoto lens instead of the periscope lens found on the Nova 16.
The Nova 16z includes a 6,000mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support. Other features such as connectivity options are similar to the Nova 16 model.
